In the area of healthy eating and lifestyle, there are many myths associated with food.
Let’s try to disprove at least some of them.
- Eggs raise considerably cholesterol levels
In fact, an egg is almost the most useful product. It contains a great number of unique antioxidants that are able to protect our eyes.
And despite the fact that this product has a respectable quantity of fat (yolk), recent studies have already demonstrated that egg promotes definite loss of weight, compared to other embodiments.
- Saturated fats are harmful
Scientific theories which say that saturated fats are harmful to the body, are incorrect. Moreover, saturated fats raise HDL (so called “good” cholesterol) levels and lower DHL (so called “bad” cholesterol) in the blood.
- We have to eat lots of crops
Crops contain useful elements, but their amount is sufficiently small in comparison with vegetables.
They also involve a large amount of phytic acid, which binds to the minerals in the intestine and prevent the digestion.
