Euromaidan 2013 in Ukraine

Euromaidan is a mass protest in Ukraine, which began on November 21, 2013 as the reaction of citizens to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to suspend the process of preparation for the signing of an association agreement between Ukraine and the EU.


The first action started in Kiev on Independence Square at about 22:00.

By the end of the day the number of protesters was from 1 to 2 thousand of people.

There are also reports that supporters of European integration came to “Euromaidan” in Donetsk, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lutsk, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky and Uzhgorod.
